OUR STORY
MORE THAN A CUP.

WHERE IT STARTED
Before Blue Cup became a business, it began with something much simpler—a name that felt like me.
Blue has always been my favorite color. But the meaning became even more personal because I am the mother of two boys. Those two simple pieces of my life came together and gave me a name that felt familiar, meaningful, and mine:
Blue Cup.
At the time, I couldn't fully see everything the name would eventually represent. What started as something personal began growing into a much larger vision.
I realized I didn't simply want to build a business. I wanted to build something my children could look at one day and see a blueprint—proof that an idea can become something real when you're willing to believe in it, build it, learn along the way, and keep going.
Maybe they'll continue what I started. Maybe they'll build on it. Or maybe Blue Cup will give them the courage to create something completely their own.
Either way, I want them to know:
You can start with what you have and build toward what you see.
That’s where Blue Cup started. But it’s not where the story ends.
THE ORIGINAL BLUE CUP Where the story began.
THE VISION GREW
As the vision for Blue Cup continued to grow, I started thinking beyond what I wanted to leave for my children.
I started thinking about people.
People who are working every day but still wondering what's next. People raising families while trying to build dreams of their own. People changing careers, starting businesses, going back to school, rebuilding after difficult seasons, looking for meaningful relationships, or simply trying to become a better version of themselves.
I realized there are a lot of people who are doing life—but still becoming.
And sometimes what we need isn't someone to give us all the answers.
Sometimes we need a place where we can sit down, breathe, work, think, have a conversation, meet the right person, discover a resource, hear something encouraging, or simply be reminded that possibility still exists.
That's when Blue Cup became bigger than a business idea.
I began envisioning a place where coffee, conversation, community, work, family, creativity, resources, and opportunity could exist under one vision.
A place where people could belong while they become.
Coffee may bring people through the door.
Community gives them a reason to stay.
Growth gives them something to leave with.
WHAT WE'RE BUILDING
Blue Cup is growing into more than an online store and more than a future coffee shop.
The vision is to create welcoming spaces—online and eventually in person—where everyday life can happen alongside connection, creativity, opportunity, and growth.
A place where you can grab a cup of coffee and stay to finish some work. Meet someone for a conversation. Study for your next exam. Bring your children while you connect with others. Discover a local business. Attend an event. Find a resource. Share an idea. Or simply have somewhere you feel comfortable being yourself.
Because sometimes one cup, conversation, connection, or opportunity can become the beginning of something much bigger.
Experience
Come in. Get comfortable. Coffee, drinks, food, merchandise, hospitality, and the simple moments that bring people together.
Community
There's room at the table. Conversation, relationships, networking, local resources, businesses, organizations, and opportunities to connect with others.
Possibility
Make room for what's next. Wi-Fi, work and study spaces, meetings, entrepreneurship, creativity, collaboration, and room to turn ideas into action.
Development
Leave with something more. Workshops, resources, partnerships, encouragement, education, opportunities, and experiences designed to help people move forward.
Come for the cup. Make a connection. Create something meaningful. Leave growing.
That's the Blue Cup we're building.
The story continues
Blue Cup may have started with my story, but I don't want it to end there.
I believe some of the most meaningful things happen when people come together—when conversations turn into connections, ideas turn into opportunities, and ordinary moments become the beginning of something new.
That's the kind of community we're building.
Whether you're building a career, raising a family, starting over, chasing a dream, growing a business, discovering your purpose, or simply figuring out what comes next, there's a place for you here.
You don't have to have everything figured out.
Come as you are. Leave inspired to become more.
More than a cup.
